This is part of the European TREASURE project, which studies the spread of plastic pollution in ports and estuaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trackers regularly send signals so they can be easily located. They are always retrieved at the end of the study, so they do not cause any additional pollution.
