Sailing for a Good Cause 2026 is an event organised by Fifty-One Westkust in collaboration with VYNieuwpoort. Above all, it is a family-friendly event where young and old can discover the joy of sailing at sea in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

We are looking for skippers with a big heart!
Every year, many people register to experience a day at sea aboard a sailing yacht or motorboat. To make this possible, we rely on a large fleet of volunteer skippers and their boats (last year, we welcomed 146 participants!).
By volunteering your boat and your sailing skills, you will help make this unique event possible. As a participating skipper, you will take passengers on board—whether they have sailing experience or not—and give them the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable day at sea.

11:00 – Welcome at the Vlaamse Yachthaven Nieuwpoort
11:30 – Skippers’ briefing and distribution of lunch packages
12:00 – Departure (lunch served on board)
16:00 – Return to the marina
17:00 – Reception
