Sailing for Charity 2026 is an event organized by Fifty-One Westkust in collaboration with VYNieuwpoort and is primarily a family event. Through this initiative, we aim to introduce young and old to offshore sailing in a relaxed way. All proceeds go to charities, primarily focused on youth assistance, supported by Fifty-One (https://51westkust.be/)
We need skippers with a warm heart!
Numerous people register every year to experience sailing at sea on a sailing yacht or motorboat. Therefore, we need a large number of boats (last year there were 146 participants!).
So, put your navigational skills and your boat at the service of this unique event. As a participating skipper, you will take passengers on board (with or without experience) and offer them the chance to go sailing or boating at sea. Furthermore, as a skipper, you can also enjoy: a hot coffee, a delicious packed lunch, a refreshing aperitif in the late afternoon, new friends for life, and a day to remember!
