The Cherry Races are back!
Looking for a fun, relaxed race evening without the pressure of competition? Then the Cherry Races are just your thing.
This is an easy-going race concept for all types of boats, ideal for practicing starts and gaining experience. Think Bluefoot races, but more laid-back.
WHEN?
The Cherry Races take place from April to September on the following Fridays: April 17, May 1, May 15, June 5, June 19, July 3, September 4, and September 18. The races often coincide with the club bar evenings.
⛵ EVENING SCHEDULE
- 18:00 – Briefing in the club bar (first floor)
- 19:00 – Start of the first race
- By 20:30 – Last race finishes
- 21:00 – Boats back in the harbor
After rigging down, we head back to the club bar for a friendly debriefing.
VYN offers a free drink (soft drink or beer). Pizza is also available at affordable prices.
The bar and pizza service are organized by volunteers on a rotating basis.
