Een gezellige en laagdrempelige race voor alle types boten in de jachthaven van Nieuwpoort. Minder competitie, The Cherry Races are back!
A fun and accessible race for all types of boats in the marina of Nieuwpoort. Less competition, more fun, and above all: practicing your starts in a relaxed atmosphere.

WHEN?
The Cherry Races take place from April to September, on the following Fridays: April 17, May 1, May 15, June 5, June 19, July 3, September 4 and September 18.
The races often coincide with the club bar evenings.
⛵ EVENING SCHEDULE
- 18:00 – Briefing in the club bar (first floor)
- 19:00 – Start of the first race
- 20:30 (latest) – Last race
- 21:00 – Boats back in the harbor
After derigging, we return to the club bar for a friendly debrief. VYN offers a free drink (soft drink or beer). Pizza will also be available at very reasonable prices.
The bar and pizzas are run by volunteers on a rotating basis.
