FLANDERS TROPHY J/80 – 9-10 May 2026
On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2026, we once again welcome the J/80 fleet for the annual Flanders Trophy, a well-established event on the calendar of the Belgian J/80 Class Association.
Designed by J Boats, the J/80 has been a popular and accessible sport keelboat for nearly thirty years. The class combines serious, competitive racing with a distinctly friendly atmosphere, making both experienced racers and enthusiastic newcomers feel at home right away. In addition to the Flanders Trophy, the annual calendar includes a Belgian Championship, club races, and several training days—always plenty of opportunities to join in!
During this two-day event, several races will be sailed each day, depending on the conditions. The Flanders Trophy is known for its sporty yet convivial character: intense racing on the water, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere ashore.
